OUCH !!!!! Take a look at the bumper of my car after encountering a 18-wheeler recap. The tire came off a truck, and another car hit it (other car was a big mess of damage) and it kicked up in the air -- I could not miss it. Traveling 60mph with cars on both sides, and behind, I had no choice. Look close and you will see tread marks from the tire. Also, what is not shown in this picture is the lower air-dam damage:
